Canned steals are ridiculous

You can't hold the ball for one second with a PF or C without getting ripped. Are we finally going to see these atrocious animations gone next year?

I hope so. It's even more ridiculous when your PG is being swiped by PF's and Centers.

I just lower the steal success and steal tendency sliders down a little bit, and it helps out.

Online is even worse. On-ball steals are such a rarity in real life, which makes it even worse that big men can rip PG's in this game.

I don't think it is that bad. You have to know how to protect the ball.

Even if you know how to protect the ball the (online) lag or (offline) reactions are too slow. If you are dribbling away from the defender and he reaches across the body the animation will take over. If you look at a lot of them the ball isn't even hit. I seen it so many times the defender swiped through the body and the ball is hit and the animation begins.
