Problem signing downloaded players in Association (PS3)

I've downloaded 3 players off 2k Share: Barkley, Iverson, and Reggie Miller. After not assigning them to a team, they end up in the FA pool. I then start a new Association game with this custom roster. Now my problem is when I go to sign one of them, the wrong person shows up in the contract negotiation screen.

For example, the FA list in my Association looks like
Barkley
Iverson
Miller
followed by the default 2k12 FAs

If I go Barkley -> Sign, I end up going to Miller's contract negotiation
If I go to Iverson -> Sign, I still end up at Miller's negotiation
However, if I try to sign any of the default FAs, their negotiation screen comes up fine

I've tried reloading and starting another new Association game, but the same thing happens. Anyone know of a fix?
