How to get My Player to dunk?

So how exactly do I get my player to dunk? My player right now only has 35 dunking and 67 vertical and he wont dunk. Can I just boost my vertical to get him to start dunking or do I have to boost dunking too? Is it necessary to buy the dunk packages to make your player dunk?

Yes you need to get a dunk package for your my player to dunk. You need for the dunk to be at least 50 to get a package, and it will be rimgrazer package.

Once you get your guy to an 80 dunking, you can do anything really.

Yeah I was having the same problem with my All Around SG. I started over with an Athletic PG and he can dunk right off the bat being athletic with a 50 dunk starting out. I can really just dunk off fast break steals ,but once you get shoot in traffic, dunk, and I think hands too (Keep control of the ball heading into the paint) you then can pull off the Blake Griffin posterizing dunks.

Vertical has nothing to do with it. Depending on your height, you can dunk at 45 or 55 dunk rating.
