Why does the PC Patch always gets Delayed?

I'm really getting frustrated that 2K Sports continue to ignore PC users with regards to PC support! Every year PC users have to wait weeks/months after the console patch is released before we get ours. I don't understand the delay, other games like Skyrim get their patch out to users across all platforms at the same time so why can't 2K Sports do the same thing for NBA 2K?

It does not make sense and there's no logical explanation to this, if other game companies are able to release PC patches at the same time with their Xbox and PS3 users why can't they do it for NBA 2K? This isn't the first year this has happened, it happens every year! We still haven't even gotten the first Patch Yet! (1.03)

Please don't move this thread to the PC forum side, I doubt that the 2K developers ever go there in the first place. I just want some attention from the PC support.

2k makes there money off consoles, its kind of like the saying you get what u pay for, pc version cheaper, so they focus mainly on consoles, sucks but its the truth

lol, 50 people buy it, but there are over almost 6,ooo people that be online playing...smh, no wonder why pc gets neglected, piracy is killing things

I guess that's true, I payed $60 for Skyrim on the PC which equals the same for Xbox/PS3 versions and the developers there releases the patch on the same day for all consoles.

I rather pay the same price as the xbox/ps3 and get the same support (patches @ the same time) than paying less and get patches a few weeks/months later...

But it's frustrating that there's no communication or official statement explaining the delay for PC patches.

I have both systems and I'm part of the master gaming race AND I have it for all three systems. PC is a no brainer because of the mods and the console versions for online.

that's why I don't buy NBA on 2K on PC anymore. The IOS version is getting an update before PC users also.

Do they even make more money on IOS than PC?

What do the developers even do? I don't really think it takes weeks/months to make a PC patch after they've worked on the xbox and PS3 versions... There was a 24-48hr delay between PS3 and Xbox patch so why does it take Weeks/Months after for a PC version?

And don't feed me with bull**** that they have to go thru a certification test for PC users, Sykrim had PC patches (thru Steam) rolling out at the same time as the xbox/PS3, also they can't use the excuse that it's a Microsoft Windows Game cause it's not! There's no excuses really!

XBOX360 is managed by Windows as it is PC. So no excuses there also. I'll ask Ronnie2K. But I know I won't get an answer.
