What is your defensive philosophy and settings?

Meaning coach profiles settings like def pressure, help def, crash boards, and fast break then the individual def assignments and how you play screens?

Do you guys sag off and try to take the paint? Do you trap and play tight? Do you just play Auto? Do you play on ball?

Personally I mix it up a lot, but I like playing tighter and trapping ball screens. I put my fast break down (to help with def rebounds). I am 50/50 with crash boards, because I never get off rebounds anyways. I am thinking I should just leave it at 0, so I play better transition def. I also like to control my weakside defenders or my bigs. I find playing on ball is a chore, doesn't really benefit your defense, and is annoying and hard to do anyways.

I sag off bad shooters, deny ball on great shooters, moderate on medium shooters, and I play tight on players who is slow and can't dribble.
