y'all are 100% right on the pick n rolls, with all the quality dunker/athletes it kills the opponenets. i also discovered a shortcut for that play, holding down L1 (on ps3) quickly calls the pick n roll.

i HIGHLY recommend running Melo thru some defensive coaching drills, he's become a pest on D after only 2 drills. Team is alot better off because of it too. i also run Shump thru the shooting drills so hits the open jumper more consistently.

I have a tendency to fill my bench/role players with athletes/defenders and maybe a scorer or two, which is why i always overturn most of my bench. Jorts tho is perfect off the bench, and isn't going anywhere.

I play a lot of 2-3 zone Melo stat and chandler down low is killer.

I have the same bench philosophy which is why walker Jorts and toney are staying

I haven't tried zone but I'll give it a shot. I do like cheating the passing lanes w/ Shumpert though. Boy got some hands.

I find Chandler doesn't block it alter many shots in man to man due to his underrated defensive ratings. In zone he is more of a force. And I too play lanes with shump.

I signed Julian Wright as an extra body when 'Melo went down, he was actually decent. Decent size and athleticism, plus good D for a few minutes off the bench.

White is great off the bench, glad i picked him up.

However, after switching to All-Star i have lost FIVE in a row. Including 2 maddening close losses. I swear, if one more guard blocks a shot that my frontline takes lol

'Melo has been upgraded to day-to-day, i am going to play him since i am desperate for more scoring.

Heading into January, i am 13-8 (55 game season, 8 minute quarters). First order of business will to be trade Fields.

Am I the only one struggling with Toney Douglas' shot? He has been TERRIBLE for me. Only averaging 4.2 ppg and shooting less than 10% from 3pt. I could really use that spark off my bench...

I would defiantly try to get more defensive guys to improve the defense or lack there of on the Knicks. If Keith Bogans is available get him. He is a great defender and a good three-point shooter which is great for the run n' gun system. Also, try to use Anthony and Stoudemire as good pick and roll situations. Try to use the off ball control for a roll to the rim (check the controls). Also, go ahead and get a pass first point guard like Kyle Lowry or Beno Udrih.
