2k you need to seriously re-evaluate his stats
b/c this is not the same byron mullens that played in okc

He looked like a 40 overall last night vs the Pacers IMO. AJ Price is 51 overall and he runs the Pacers offense very very well. It all relates to the diversity 2k shows between the elites and scrubs, and it also relates to his position and strengths.

Mullens has definitely improved this year on the offensive end - and yeah, he will work his way into the starting lineup soon. His PER is 22.0 this year - highest on the Bobcats out of anyone. (Although it's not like he's up against much).

He definitely deserves higher than a 40 - at least a 60 at this point.

He's not a solid defensive player or rebounder, and has a finesse game instead of a strong post game...but the man is not 40 ovl.

Mullens is averaging 11.6 points as a Bobcat and Friday he scored 17 points and grabbed five rebounds.

imo if he keeps it up there is no reason why his name shouldn't be thrown into the Most improved player, im not saying that he'll win, cause there are much better options, but he should atleast get some recognition

I don't know about all that, but he is showing some signs of improvement...the season is still young though. Let's see how long he can sustain his performance throughout the season.

It's funny to see this thread pop up... Last week during a post game interview, they mentioned how well he was playing and he said something like "Maybe my 2k rating will finally go up now".

To be fair though, who knew Mullens would play as well as he's playing? I think a ratings boost is in order, and I'd think he'd be one of the first to get one.

But if you want to make sure it gets boosted, maybe try tweeting LD2K or Ronnie2K?

Keep in mind, what did Byron do to deserve more than a 40 ovr last year? Nothing...,but if he keeps on balling he'll be well above that when 2k begins to update ratings. If I remember correctly at season start last year 2k had Blake Griffin at a mid or low 70 ovr and by years end he was like an 86.

Yea Center Ian Mahimi of the Mavs has a 46 OVR. He scored 19 points against the Raptors this season. I think he should be a 51 OVR? What do you guys think. Can you post ratings/potential edits for Mullens too? Thanks

Key word in that post was RAPTORS. Lol not busting your chops or nothing but I think Charles Barkely could put up 19 points on them pre Weight Watchers. Regarding Mullens rating tho idk. Lets give it another week or two and see if he has maintained his game before giving him any boost. I think he can in Charlotte but who knows.

I DLed the new rosters and added missing players and didnt want to edit anybody for my association just because I figured it was mostly fine, but I did edit both Mullens and Mahinmi. I dont remember what i changed Mahinmi too (maybe like 4 or 5 better) but I did change Mullens to a 52. I figured from a 40 thats a huge jump and as the season goes on, he'll be somebody thatll keep going up as long as he plays well.
