A.i has 75% FG. Going perfect from 3 pt line. Scoring in the paint with 3 defenders on you is so realistic. I really want to like this game as its the only basketball "sim" but they are making it really hard.

Post has two lines. Repeats what has been complained about in a million other threads already. Judging on what you could be doing wrong is so easy when you don't give any info about slider settings or difficulty level.

I only play on pro its pathetic. I feel like if I use sliders Im not playing the game the way it was meant to be played. I have shot feed back on, so i know im taking smart shots but still miss. I dont get itComment

Why don't you want to change the sliders ?
The purpose of them is that there is no fixed way of the game being played. Also, the developers didn't give you very good default sliders. And as long as you keep the sliders even between you and the CPU, it is not cheap to do so.
Btw, your description sounds like you're doing a lot of things wrong when playing. The CPU hitting everything contested and you hitting nothing occurs sometimes but it also occurs the other way around.
I found the game to be very balanced on Pro level. Without any cheap tricks or exploits that is.Comment

Oh so now we are bringing morality into play? Man if you don't use some custom rosters/sliders and get ride of that, ""I am to play the game the way the game is meant to be played" nonsense. I don't even understand why people even think like that. Listen man, if you want the game to be realistic you can't play on the default settings.
The game is meant to be a fun game for people online. That is what it is meant for, so if that is the type of game you want then fine use the default rosters and use the default sliders. So stop complaining. Download the links I posted in this thread and call it a day.

Even if you play with the out of the box roster and sliders (which I'm doing at the time), you can still prevent ridiculous stat lines by actually playing FUNDAMENTAL defense. don't jump to block anything unless you have a feeling it's leaving the player's hand, instead, just raise your hands. Raise your hands a lot period to make it less easier to pass through open lanes.
Your objective is to make it tough on the offense to put up quality shots. One way you can check to see if your doing this, is by turning on shot quality for both the user and computer. If they're consistently getting "Practice Grade" shots - those consistent A or A+ shots, then you aren't making it tough on the defense to score.
This is a video game, players aren't going to be affected by small variables. You have to utilize what the game gives you to create a defensive gameplan, and that honestly comes as you get more experienced playing different teams, and get a feel for what players can and can't do, OUTSIDE of shooting.Comment

I shoot A shots with perfect release and still miss. I understand missing those shots once in a while but to have three A shot in a row miss only for the CPU to score on D shots and go on a 12-2 run. I try to foul or call timeouts to stop the run. I just wish I could sink half the shots the Cpu is able to. I wasnt frustrated with this game until i turned the shot feedback and realized I had perfect release.Comment

Are they open shots? Man in face? Good quality shots? Alot of things factor in making shots besides perfect release. And even if its perfect it doesn't mean its a automatic made shot. And work on your D my friend. Stop trying to steal everything and focus on guarding the man with the ball. After practice your enjoyment level for the game will increase.Comment

If you aren't enjoying it, move on. If you want to improve it, just mess with the sliders or work on defense. If you are right in a guy's face and jump as he shoots, the ball is not going to go in as often as if you just sagged off. It's simple. I'm not saying the default three shooting isn't ridiculous, but it can be slowed down by good defense.Comment
