Stealing is Impossible

It is impossible to steal the ball in this game, I have turned up all stealing sliders to 100, and the on ball defense and everytime I go for a steal I get a reach in foul.

Who are you using? Most my steals come from playing passing lanes. I don't really go for on ball steals cus the animations are over the top.

Try jumping the passing lines, it's the easiest way to get steals. Or get someone with a high steal rating like Chris Paul, I once got like 8 steals with him and they were all on ball

Since the update stealing is near impossible. I think they should be halfway beteen the original release and how it is now. The if you reach and foul it should be a foul. Not reaching and getting a animation so they call foul everytime on harder difficulties

Um bro I get steals alot in my My Player PG. If i'm up against a poor ball handler sometimes I can pick his pocket and get an easy steal ,but up against a more proficient PG like CP3 or D Rose I can jump in the passing lane and get a few.

I really don't have a problem getting steals. Just follow what everyone else has stated... jump the passing lanes.

Also, go for the steal when you bump the ball handler.

but i can easily steal ..play smarter it sounds like your just pushing the steal button nonstop

Lol how can you not get steals in this game? I average around 6.3 SPG and in my last 20 games I have had 8-15 steals. I get triple doubles all the time by getting points, assists, and steals.

All you gotta do is steal the ball when they pass it to someone thats posting up or any other passing lane. You can also try to steal it when they inbound the ball. And if you fail to steal it when they inbound the ball you just rush the player and sometimes they fumble the ball and it's a easy fastbreak dunk + steal.
