Freezing Question, help please

Ok, so now every time I try and load up my game it freezes on the loading settings part. I'm thinking maybe it's because I just put the codes in for the alternate jerseys or maybe since I made some new shoes on the Nike ID or maybe just switching round the settings. Either way I'm thinkin my only way to fix it is deleting my settings... I'd rather not since there's a lot of stuff I might not remember. Anyone else have a better idea?

doesn't happen to me on that part
i might get it in my player or association mode after a few games because of the saving content bs

I'm having this problem as well. Started with the loading rosters part...deleted those...would load them then it gets to loading settings...now it's freezing there.

Okay, back in business.

On your PS3, in your system menu, scroll over to "GAME". Find "Game Data Utility" 2nd from the top. Find the 2 NBA2K12 files. Delete both of them (it's just the patches).

Then fire up 2k12...it will ask you to update to the current patch. Download it, and then you'll be good to go.

Not sure what that was all about.

Never had i any freezing issues until yesterday when i started 2K12 up and couldnt get past the loading screen. Tried everything, deleted settings, deleted nba today, deleted rosters...it still kept freezing. Deleted the patch data and works fine now. i suggest this if you are having freezing issues especially at the load screen

deleted the files and it worked for me too. Thank god I found this thread before I traded in the game for credit

I had the same problem tonight. Last year 2K11 did the same thing in the middle of the season. My game just froze at the loading screen. I was able to delete my settings file last year but that didn't work this time. I took the advice here and removed the game and deleted the patch. I popped the game back in and everything is working again.

I'm just wondering if this had something to do with the roster update tonight? I just hope it doesn't happen again.
