WHY DOES 2k DO THIS
THe game always plays great for awhile then gets messed up. I dont know if its Nba today, rosters, or something else but I cant stand it. Just a day ago I was ago to pull of iso moves realistically and could take advantage of mismatches. Now al of the sudden Drose cant even get by jeremy lin. He just bumps him right out of the lane.Jet Life To The Next LifeTags: None -
Re: WHY DOES 2k DO THIS
I ask myself this question all the time. Are you noticing this in Association mode? That's the mode I play 90% of the time and when my games turn crazy I think it's 2k's way of keeping the season interesting because nobody wants to win every game every time. I may be wrong, but that's my way of coping and not throwing my controller through the screen, lol. -
Re: WHY DOES 2k DO THIS
Happens all the time!!!
One game everything is fluent then the next one is glitchy and the cpu is sliding players 3-5 feet to stop a fastbreak or to stop a score.
What gets me is I will put go over or under screens on defense and my players do the complete opposite.

Re: WHY DOES 2k DO THIS
it's pretty clear that there are momentum swings at play in the game that make it near impossible to lose some games and to win others.
It's more like coaching NBA than playing it really. I mean you are at the mercy of whatever happens. Like Rondo missed a layup that would have won the game just a few nights ago in reality. If this had happened in 2K I would have chucked the controller out the window like "RONDO DOESN"T MISS AN OPEN LAYUP IN THE CLUTCH!!"
Truth is, in the NBA, anything can happen. You could argue 2K got it a little too right in this regard!Last edited by funkworthy; 03-13-2012, 02:17 PM.Comment

Re: WHY DOES 2k DO THIS
Honestly, I think most people fail to see/realize this and it leads to the majority of complaining. Players only think about the times the CPU let's them get hot and think the whole game should be played like that and when the momentum doesn't swing their way they think the game is broken.it's pretty clear that there are momentum swings at play in the game that make it near impossible to lose some games and to win others.

If you can see the momentum swings, you can adapt to it but most people don't see it going on.Comment

I said it before and I will say it again.....
Human sliders are for the home team and cpu sliders are for the away team.
Stop degrading the cpu sliders and the game will play fine.I bet most of everyone problems stem from them dropping the cpu sliders way to low.

Re: WHY DOES 2k DO THIS

would sound great if I if it is true!!
So what about people that play with equal sliders as I do
Equal sliders and the game plays different all the time even if I play with the same team with the same coaching settings..True bout my business, Mane!Comment
