What does strength affect in My Player?

Does it just affect backing up ability? Or does it affect driving to the hoop too?

Well it certainly affects your ability to 'back down" on an opponent and it also affects your ability in the same situation defensively (you don't get pushed back as easily). In another thread around here we were wondering if it affected dunking ability or contact shots, etc.

Somebody said that it does indeed affect the ability to finish, but I haven't done any testing or anything so I can't confirm or deny.

Pretty much, Guys with higher strength can push defenders out the way thus getting to the basket more easily.

Yeah guys like D Rose should have a higher strength rating then Normal PG's.

I'm guessing strength affects everything in the videogame that it affects in real basketball. One thing for sure it helps with is defense... I remember 2k11 I had my my player 99 strength and 99 defensive awareness n it made a real difference in holding your ground when playing defense.
