Solution to low assists in Association?

Hey there guys, I was just wondering what's the easy solution to the low assists in the association? Is it a slider or coach profile issue? Most of the teams in my association are only hovering around a week 18-20 team assists per game, any quick fix?

In this game, I've noticed that there is a "timer" that lasts about 3-4 seconds in which a score after a pass counts as an assist. So if you pass to Dwight Howard in the post, and spend 10 seconds doing moves before scoring, it won't be an assist. If you pass to him in the post and he scores almost immediatley, then the player who last passed to Howard will recieve an assist along with Howard's points.

In simulation? You need to download a roster. In game, get more ball movement.
