Play Assignments for Association

Hi,

So I was wondering if anybody could give me a good breakdown of when somebody should be assigned a certain play type, like Isolation, cutter, high post etc.

I play Association coach mode and I have been playing with the assignment types, and I understand some of them are pretty self explanitory (3pt, mid range) but some of them are a bit more confusing.

So for the follow types, what kind of player should receive these types (tendencies, abilitys, attributes?)

Mid Range (Good mid ranged shot I assume)
3pt (good 3pt shot I assume)
P&R Ball Handler (PG stats like Ball Handeling I assume)
Cutter ? (Good Atheltism?)
Isolation (Good overall?)
R&R Roll man ?
High post ?
Low Post (Good low post drive/shot and inside/close shot?)

Players that I typically use for cutters are like Trevor Ariza or a Thaddeus Young. You are right on the assumption they need to be athletic. Iso players are like Carmelo D-Wade players like that. Pick and Roll man for me is a good inside finisher but maybe not a good post like Anderson Varejao Tyson Chandler types. High post I like an athletic/ European 4 man like Dirk or LaMarcus Aldridge. Also I like to put Paul Pierce up on a high post since he is a bigger 3 man. also face up players i use here. Finally a low post would be like a Bynum or Howard. Someone with good back to basket skills.
