I like it -- a little bit easier to learn, which means my friends who don't play a lot of 2k will still be interested in throwing down every now and then. If its in Franchise mode then I'd probably play it instead of just skipping All Star weekend.

Hate em. Almost embarrassed that they would change it to something like Guitar Hero. I liked the analog, they should have touched that up a little bit.

I'am really excited. I always loved Guitar hero and always thought it would be cool to have it melted with a NBA all star game dunk contest.

I hate it. It looks completely void of skill and as if we simply match buttons and watch a dunk animation play out. They said they wanted to reward their hardcore fans with all-star weekend and that's the control scheme they come up with?

There seems to be absolutely no connection of button input to what we make happen on-screen, so I'm with you there. Do we control what kind of take-off, which hand to use, where to jump from, what sort of motion we dunk with? It seems as if almost none of that is accounted for. It's akin to entering a code in order to unlock an in-game dunk movie clip.

It's total rubbish. Cannot believe this was the big reveal. Whatever happened to total player control? I won't be bothering to pre order now.
