2k11 recornated to 2k13?

Kotaku made a article about a lot of people still play 2k11 online.I hope the 2k devs have been listening we want 2k11 with 2k12 post play, please no more brick walls when trying to get into the lane don't make it easy either but westbrook,TP,Drose,lebron ect.. Should be able to go into the lane most of the time,we want loud crowd playoff atmostphere okc should be the loudest,passing you already know the obvious but please fix the fast breaks on higher difficulties no big man should catch up with a guard let alone guard sticking to him like glue with ease and I also miss the out of the box 2k11 sim default sliders.

Alot of people play 2K11 online still cause they didn't want to get 2K12. Thinking that the NBA season would be locked out, and then finding out it wouldn't even start until late December, seemed sorta pointless to pay $60 for a game that'd really be played for like 5 months.


That's at least what I did. Didn't get 2K12, but will get 2k13.

Funny how a typo veers a thread off the tracks.

I agree with the OP though. 2K11 had a lot of solid elements regarding contact and spacing. While the contact was at times too much, I'd rather have 2k11's too much than 2k12's too little.

Yeah but 2k11's "too much" caused too many complaints that resulted in 2k12's "too little". I think once we as a community decide on what we want it'll be easier for them to implement.

I know they probably have a 'WTF' expression on when they read about us complaining about less contact after 2k11 saw a bunch of 'too much' contact complaints.

I actually bought 2k12 on release day. I ended up going back to 2k11 and giving 2k12 away. I felt it made things like jump shooting better but was a big step back in important areas.

2k10 is 2k12 so I hope you are right! 2k11 contact was beautiful to me making all those beautiful contact layups

Lmao sorry about the heading I woke up early typing this thing up before I forget my major points but anyways let's not forget 2k11 sweat system,better realistic contacts,and I couldn't stand 2k12 off balanced jumpshots that I would do unintentional

Yeah but the problem is people don't explain things objectively. "There's too much contact. There's not enough contact" don't translate very well into software requirements. One of the problems of the short dev cycle is not realizing they have grossly oversteered in the direction they were trying to correct and thus created a new problem.

Honestly, I don't see why they don't just create a new setting where you can adjust how much contact you like. If I want 2k11, or 2k12, or somewhere in between, everyone is happy. That has been in my opinion what has always set 2K apart from the rest was to make the game how you like it.

2k11 screens were not perfect but they were more tolerable then 2k12 and I also miss the cpu shoot off the dribble a lot more then 2k12

I just hope they bring crew back as well cuz without it, I only had 2k12 for a couple days. Without it, it made my player kinda pointless. Like I would work hard on a guy but can't get to show him off or anything. Plus it lets u play with friends and their players. So that's what I'm hoping, that they get it back into the game.
