Changing The Default Roster
Whenever you load up the game, it loads up an official roster. Is there any way to change this to a roster you downloaded/made instead of the official roster?Tags: None -

Re: Changing The Default Roster
I don't think this is possible this year for some stupid reason. I would recommend turning Auto Save and Living Rosters OFF, then save your settings file. That way, when the file loads at the opening screen, it won't overwrite your custom roster file. -

Dang... That sucks... I remember in years past that the game would automatically load the latest roster that was used by the player. Why would they take that out?
Is this the only option?Comment

It's not that hard to go in and load another roster though from the menu. But it's strange they took it out.

Re: Changing The Default Roster
Agreed on both fronts. It's not exactly the worst thing ever for to load up my roster every time the game starts, but it would be a nice convenience. Also, fork the sake of aesthetics, I like seeing my classic players spinning the basketball on their fingers up top in the NBA Today box, so that'd be fun to see right away too.
So yeah, it'd be nice to have an toggleable option of choosing which roster a user would like to be loaded upon startup.Comment

Re: Changing The Default Roster
One thing I've done is download your preferred roster, go to Save Roster from 2K Nav, name your roster whatever you want, and save it over the spot where the official roster is. It deletes the official roster, but the game will automatically load your preferred roster.Celtics-17 Banners

Re: Changing The Default Roster
Yes you can, first download that custom roster, then delete the current roster file, and save to implement that new one. I did it by accident lol, gl.Comment

Re: Changing The Default Roster
So you can't edit a roster, save it, and have it load automatically? Should you just edit a roster, put it on 2K Share, download it, and go from there? That's like going around your head to get to your neck, but if it works I'll do it.
