NBA 2k12: Dunking without a dunk package?
Okay so I noticed something interesting to me. In my player, I have an athletic pg with a 95 dunk, but i took off my athletic dunk package so it says : none. Now when I dunk around in practice mode, I see my pg dunking with the d.wade, ellis, iggy, n.robinson, rimgrazer, athletic, etc packages. Not just one package, but defferent everytime. I know because Ive seen all the dunks by an athletic package, and there arent that many. I also know wades, ellis, iggys, and he did them on a fastbreak at differnt times. In practice mode he did blake griffins dunk where he slams it and hangs off of one hand (if anybody knows what im talking about). Did anybody else use no dunk package at all before? -

Yep. It's the best way to go because it gives you a variety of different dunks at any given time. You honestly never know what you might pull off next.
Can you also do 360's with no dunk package? I haven't tested that out yet. -

I've liked the selection "None" has offered but I never realized it was a conglomeration of other people's packages. I just figured it was a bunch of good dunks with no ties to specific packages. I'm also not a fan of the "athletic" package, for it seems as if whoever has that package assigned to them becomes very likely to pull off an ugly one-foot, two-hand tomahawk way too frequently.Comment

I wish they had more two handed dunks. The only package that performs that dunk with any frequency is the Monte Ellis package.

Those dunks right there are the ones I'd like to see more of. Especially those two handed alleyoop dunks. You see those much more frequently in a real game than the generic one-handed one foot dunk alley they give you in the game.
I'd also like to see a lot less vertical on a couple of alleyoops and more arm length/wingspan on dunks.Comment

So glad people besides me loathe that damn two handed dunk. It disgusts me to the level of insanity.
I hate it and those contact layups near the paint that almost never go in and take nothing like the height of the players involved or their position to the goal into account.Comment
