Players Worth "Resurrecting" in NBA 2K13?

Every year in Association Mode I pick a former player who has been a "bust," and through development drills I "resurrect" his career by progressing him into a superstar. It usually makes for an interesting storyline.

Do you do the same? If so, with who? My list of 2K13 candidates includes (leading candidates in bold):

    Hasheem Thabeet
    Marvin Williams
    Sebastian Telfair
    Charlie Villanueva
    Gerald Green
    Adam Morrison (if he's included)
Greg Oden (biggest challenge, he never stays healthy)
    Yi Jianlian
    Corey Brewer
    Anthony Randolph
    Jonny Flynn
    Terrence Williams
    Earl Clark
Byron Mullens (made a significant leap last season)
Jimmer Fredette (too soon? he's buried on the Kings bench)

He seems too old now and at one time he actually was very good, unlike the other players on the list. But it still would probably be fun to do.

Im doing that now in 2K12. I got him back on the Lakers from the Mavs (using 87 Lakers and Classic Teams) I put him back at 6th man and in his first game back against the Kings he did pretty good. I think he can still be an effective 6th Man in real life with the Clippers now that hes back in LA.

Do you actually play the games or just fast forward and let the CPU deal with it?

Terrance Williams is pretty good on 2k because of athlrtic ability. Put him at SF on the Kings online & kill

Tracy Mcgrady? I would make him one of the best again.

                    Players coming back from injury:
                    Shaun Livingston
                    Brandon Roy
                    Jeff Green

Players with high potential but never really met the expectations:
                    Tyrus Thomas
                    Wes Johnson
                    Brandan Wright
                    Corey Brewer
                    Brandon Rush
                    Tyler Hansbrough
                    Al-Farouq Aminu
DeJuan Blair (** mainly due to lack of playing time)

Players that have regressed not due to age or injury:
                    Andray Blatche
                    Ben Gordon
                    Carlos Boozer

Players that never took it to the next level:
                    Andrea Bargnani
                    Emeka Okafor

Great list. Shaun Livingston really stands out to me. Back in the day I heard him being touted as the next Magic Johnson back before he was drafted.

Beasley or Mayo. Neither failed badly but when you have guys in '08 draft like Rose, Love, Westbrook and great things were expected from those two. Could be fun.
