Help With Importing A Team Into Association Mode

I've been trying to start an association with a "current" Sonics roster, to do this I started a season with the 95-96 team and then traded their entire roster for another teams entire roster and then exported the team. Problem is when I do this it causes a number of glitches with the rosters and game mode such as player names being changed (Carmelo Anthony becomes Carmelo Kemba etc) and when in the association a number of players on the roster become untradeable.

Searched through multiple forums and haven't found much useful info, so wondering if anyone here has had a similar problem when importing a team and found a work around, any help would be appreciated.

It's a common problem with exporting a team I've never found a fix but I remember a downloadable sonics team with the current thunder roster on 2kshare so that may be the best way to avoid the issue

Thanks for the reply, might try that, though strangely I'd prefer to replace a team like the Hornets or Bobcats

Also found a way to fix the name issue, I was using a user roster with the 2013 rookies but when I went back to the latest official 2k roster the name glitch didn't occur
