What players deserve more than 5 sig skills

Floor General

What then? Which 5 will he be given?

Its like you don't even have to hesitate to give him all these SS skills, its just amazing how superior his offense and defense was, but he also did the little thing great also, which separates him and really put him in his own category.

I would also give him FLOOR GENERAL, because he even made winners out of Horace Grant, Bill Cartwright, Ronnie Brown, Jud Bucehler, Luc Longley etc. All of these guys were mediocre players, MJ demanded so much from his teammates it raised their game. Just ask Steve Kerr LOL.

Definitely.

I'm assuming there will be a Jordan from different periods of his career like there was in the last two games, so I can see 2K breaking up those sig skills to match Jordan's specific skill set at that particular time.

For example, I would give 80's Jordan Posterizer, Acrobat, and Highlight Film but definitely not late 90's Jordan.

Yes, I agree with the 80's Jordan, he was more of a slasher, dunk on you type player with amazing athletic ability, those SS you posted fits him, I would add, pick pocket, deadeye, shot creator, microwave, finisher and maybe closer if it all was possible, late 90's Jordan, he would still put you on a poster, but he did not look to do it often, mostly tomahawk one handed gliding dunks (which are my favorite from him) after he came back from first retirement, he develop more of a post game, and took more jumpshots. I will add Post Prof, and Heat retention, plus still lock down defender and floor general, mentally he had the edge.

I think some of y'all need to wait until the game comes out before you judge who needs what. Take MJ for example. I'm sure his ratings will be off the charts. He won't need specific modifiers for steals because he was an all around thief. He was a highlight dunker early in his career as well as a poster dunker. He probably is still capable of the chase down, as his block rating will surely be higher than LeBron's and his speed is there as well. The chase down block skills gives a boost to those without those attributes normally. Also, Jordan didn't chase down as frequently as LeBron...he was always more of a weak side shot blocker...which I rarely see LeBron do. Jordan doesn't need heat retention because his shooting attributes will be high anyway. If Jordan had that skill, he'd never miss...lol. And finally, Jordan doesn't really need the floor general skill. Pippen was the floor general of that team. Once Pippen goes to the bench, the role players don't need a boost since the Ball will be going to Jordan anyway. When Jordan goes to the bench, they just may need that boost.

It also reduces being called for a reach in foul. I'm not necessarily saying Jordan wouldn't deserve it, but let's say Jordan has a 95 steal rating...that means he's capable of being a pick pocket, interceptor, as well as having quick hands. On the other hand, Iverson was never known for being an on the ball thief, but he led the NBA in steals 4 times because he was good at interceptions. Let's say Iverson has a steal rating of 75-80, that interceptor skill which I presume he has would not only boost his steals for that particular scenario, but also his speed and vertical, meaning he could be off to the races for an easy layup...all while negating the need to raise his steals rating.

Not saying the system is perfect, but it's better than it was before.
