    Unpredictability Factor like Fifa 13

    I think it would be nice to implement this in 2k13.. i know its a longshot but i guess it can go on my wishlist. like getting travelling calls when pushing fast break with big men who have no business running the fast break like joel anthony or players with no handle getting a shuffling feet called against them after catching the ball in the perimeter and immediately dribbling the ball towards the basket. imo too many of the turnovers in the 2k series are clean steals which really isnt sim ball.

    NBA players dont travel in open court. Usually only happens while attacking the basket. See Lebron plays on youtube for reference

      Adding randomness to competitive/sport's games isn't a good thing to me.

        Most of the posters here, especially sim/slider fanatics (myself included) have been calling for this for years. There have never been enough non-steal turnovers in this game which in general leads to too many FGA and high scores when playing 12 min quarters.

        We need more moving screens, traveling violations, errant passes out of bounds, balls lost out of bound when driving, offensive foul calls etc.

        Not sure if we will ever get a realistic amount to be honest.

          i'm fine with a minimal amount of randomness...but too much "forced randomness" that happens outside of the user's control can turn into a slippery slope real quick. i like most of the occurrences in the game to result from things that I did or didn't do....otherwise you feel like the game is just playing itself and you are getting penalized for things that have nothing to do with anything you did.

          this might not be 100% realistic, but the alternative can be infuriating. i'm fine with a few random things (like an occasional off-ball foul committed by an AI teammate), but these things have to kept to a minimum or people will be throwing their controllers .

              The whole game honestly is based on probabilites and randomness. Getting a foul called against you is random when you reach in. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesnt. Heck, even making a shot is determined by the CPU. Sure you may have a perfect realease, but the game still determines based on ratings and other stuff in the background if it goes in or not. Not really sure what the difference is with being whistled for traveling. If you have a guy with poor post moves/dribbling ability, and you try to do a move, the game should do a calculation based on how often its called in real life and force a random call every now and then.

              In the end, the game is supposed to strive to reproduce the sport it portrays. Not sure why people are okay with something that happens multiple times a game in real life never happening in their game. Especially when its a part of the actual gameplay.

                i'm fine with a few random things happening, but like i said, it has to be kept to a minimum....and for the most part, they are kept to a minimum 2k's games. i'm fine with the current level...i just don't want it to get out of control where your teammates are getting called for stupid fouls too often, or your player is just breaking into random animations that you did not trigger.

                    most of these things you can change with sliders or with a ratings change. want more off ball fouls? raise the slider. want joel anthony to fumble more? change his attribute(s). i would like to see more turnovers on offense. not cheese ones but in real nba games sometimes players will make a bad pass or fumble the ball. but 2k13 looks pretty sick still.

                      Remember when big men used to straight up collapse when you dribbled too much with them? Was that 2k7?

                        Except that slider did absolutely nothing in last years game. Even with it maxed out, you barely saw one per game.

                          A travel in real life is the ball-handler's fault. If I get a travel in the game it needs to be my fault, not caused by a dice roll.

                            IMO I get enough random events in 2K like the CPU 6'0 foot PG blocking my 7'2 Center, bumping animations where i lose the ball, CPU draining F and D rated 3 point shots, I don't need anymore randomness.

                              We definitely do not need more moving screen calls. That seems to be called far to often in 2k12.
