Re: What are your feelings towards the Control Stick?

I can't answer this. Poll question should be "what are your feelings about the default control stick?" I love the new right stick dribbling, but I hate it when having to use the L2 for shooting. I don't like the default control setup but have a very strong feeling I will love it with L2 + R stick for dribbling opening the shot stick back up without a modifier. So, I love it and hate it all at the same time.

The thing I noticed is people are getting too into the control stick. Like they'll turn a 5 on 5 full court basketball game, into a 1v1 halfcourt possession. Just pass the ball around and use the moves when you have to, I think it works/feels just fine, and I'll get even more used to it when I play on the 2K cam.

I'm getting a good feel for the controls now, I was the type of player that would use the Shot Stick when I drove to the basket and the Button only on jumpers. Of course you are going to have those players that try to cross you every play like NBA Street but with the improvements to defense doesn't seem it will be a problem. Once I'm able to change the camera angle I think I will like it even more.

The new dribbling controls are fun, but I think I would also prefer a L2 + R stick for dribbling opening the shot stick back up without a modifier. So it is confirmed that we can have this option for controls when the full game is released right? If so then that will be great, I've gotten to use to just using the shot stick with a modifier or extra button when shooting, I like the new dribble control but I think I may like it more with the set up of having to use the L2 modifier + R stick to pull of the dribble moves.

Re: What are your feelings towards the Control Stick?

I like the control stick, but it's a steep learning curve after mastering the old controls. All I want to know is..are the size up moves still in the game? They were great setups in 2K12. Has this been addressed/answered already?

EDIT - There are no more player specific size up moves. Question was just answered.

I won't even know until I get that 2K camera, broadcast looks good but I can't mess with it.

Re: What are your feelings towards the Control Stick?

I'm not a fan of having to hold LT to shoot if I can reverse it than I'll love it because I don't mind the right stick controls it's pretty cool but as I was playing the demo there were many times I was trying to shoot or pump fake and I would always forget to hold LT...I know it's something to get used to but I'm not really a fan of it. I also have followed very little news of 2K this year, last year sports games disappointed me so much I just decided to wait till close to the release to start following up every single info about each game(madden/fifa/NBA) It wasn't until 2 days ago I found out the controls changed.

Re: What are your feelings towards the Control Stick?

I love it is just it takes some getting used to using the modifier to shoot. Cant begin to tell u how many layups I missed out on or shot clock violations ive had. I use X to jumpshoot mainly but I just wanted to give the new system a full go for the demo. Probably gonna switch the modifier for crossovers once retail releases.
