Think that would be impressive ( not over the top style) more like the rim bends if D12 smashes or Lebron on a fast break one hand windmill back board breaker ...... The possibilities ???

Oh heck no, like the self off the glass alley-oop it just doesn't happen enough in an actual game to warrant being in the game. At least with the self alley-oop we see it during all-star weekend(NBA-Live '05 or '06 allowed you to do this stuff during the all-star weekend but not a regular season game which is how it should be)

Havent seen a shattered backboard in years and would make no sense to add it. Keep that stuff in a street mode.

I agree I haven't seen it in years but where I disagree is it doesn't mean it can not happen I say build some type of engine that works off of momentum and maybe if the dunker has the right abilities heck y not

Lol. Was it breaking the glass or stanchion? I don't think I ever knew that they had that before because, I have to say, isomotion mostly kept me away from getting too far cuz I grew to hate it in NBA2K over the years to see much of the goodness. It'd usually get shelved, very early, most years that I bought it.

I would say this would be cool but who really breaks the basketball stanchion these days and I don't think u can break the "glass" now, like back in the day.

Well if they have retro courts pre the new rim era the rims and. Backboards should be well not as up to date so maybe it should be an era based dlc add on

This isn't a "What if," but I'm glad to see that they brought back 1 on 1 thru 5 on 5 in Blacktop mode in NBA 2K13. Just Jordan vs Kobe alone is Good Times.

Has a backboard even been broken in the NBA from 2000 to now? I doubt it, so why include it? If it doesn't ever happen, makes no sense.

However, they did include the Gatorade dunking coach cutscene for a PLAYOFF GAME instead of a Championship win. Kinda obscene lol.

Maybe include it in the future for moment-specific challanges. Like the Jordan challanges, if they bring those back for the future you could have like a Shaq challange where during a game against the Nets you have to throw down a massively powerful dunk, and if you do you'll bring the whole rim down.

That's a great idea also but I really think it should be something court related like if in a throwback per shaq era court it should be breakable

It CAN'T HAPPEN. You would need a hammer to break the glass. Not even a piano can break the backboard. Search on YouTube fro Sports Science backboard shattering and you'll see what I mean.

I agree but I think it should pertain to the older generation courts and rims those rims where breakable
