excatly. it's their mistake. they can't charge us retroactively - it won't happen. although i wouldn't be surprised if i had "bad luck" with boosters from here on out haha
h*ll i bought a 10,000 VC package before stumbling upon this. so it's not like i had nefarious intentions.

plus i like to think im not being a jerk about it. im not powering up MyPlayer or MyTeam through the glitch; i _never_ even play online. (glad they have exhibition in MyTeam because it is pretty neat and fun to build a team by _only_ buying boosters)
i bought enough of the glitched 5,000 VC packages to buy the blacktop players I wanted as i think it's mean, nor does it make sense, for them to charge for blacktop players. then i nabbed two gold boosters out of curiosity. i got Corie Blount (ha!), deadeye sig skill, Barklays Center, Scott Brooks and Lakers' Staples Center - nothing great, although Brooks seems nice, +5 offense and +3 defense.

i hate that they make us pay for ANY additional players in a game if it's already coded in. whatever happened to UNLOCKING players!?

what i hate more though, is that people can buy their way to victory in sports games.
