2K taking too much away from the game??

So basically, 2K screwed us..
-missing legends
-cant take off autosave
-so far I can't even play a game on my association without autosave deleting it
-cant upload sliders, so I heard
-can only create 1 myplayer
-cant export teams
-lots of missing rookies

Seriously, why do they do this? Are they wanting to make us hate them? lol

It just doesn't make any sense at all. They make improvements in one area only to take away from another.. It's almost like they don't want each year to produce a better game.. This is ridiculous to say the least..

Missing rookies is not 2ks fault, so take that off the list. Also, you can start multiple careers, just have to have the same name on you new player.

Otherwise I agree. Auto save always being on, not being able to export your team and run plays option not working in MyCareer is atrocious, imo. Otherwise the game certainly is the best nba game made to date but some of the they've taken away from the game seriously takes away points imom

Missing rookies is not 2ks fault, so take that off the list. Also, you can start multiple careers, just have to have the same name on you new player.

I can understand the autosave stuff. It sucks, I know. But I guess the currency system kind of dictates it.

Most of the other stuff you listed isn't that big of a deal(legends, rookies, not a huge deal at all and has to do with licensing)

But ONLY autosave in association? Are you kidding me? I thought game developers learned by now that most people HATE being forced to autosave when they don't want to. I payed for the game, i should be able to save when i please.

So far the gameplay seems very solid, and i'm liking it so far. But THAT, is crap. Why would they do that? Come on, just think would ya?

You can't turn off autosave in association? Come onnn. Seems like video games always find something to break in the game nowadays.

thought i might be doing something wrong but i guess not. in MyCareer plays are being run but i have no idea what play is being run so i just run around like a tool. turned on run plays and show play art but still nothing....

It is not about losing for me (and I would imagine most players), there are other reasons I hate autosave. Say I want to edit tendencies or sig styles for players. Autosave after every action! Edit someone' shoes? Saved. Finetuning draft classes? Autosave after every player. That gets very annoying.

Besides that, I like experimenting in my game. what if i want to test the trade logic? Will the game autosave after each transaction?
But most of all, what if I just wanted to sim to the offseason for test reasons or curiosity? Autosave would screw me. Its happened before. I simmed to the offseason a few years back just to see if a player would resign or enter FA (not sure who it was, maybe Lebron?). Anyway I forgot about autosave and it overrided my savefile. I was not a happy camper.

Exactly. If you're just experimenting or trying things out but you still want to use that save, there's no option to save at one point, mess around and go back to that point as it's overwritten that save. Now your only option is to restart.

Besides that, being forced to save is annoying. My offline association and my career should have nothing to do with anyone.
