Before I trade this game in a question

I really want to like this game, but I can't get over the player movement.

Is there a slider to make it smooth (like 2k7) where I feel like I'm controlling skilled nba players, and not dump trucks?

Seer, momentum and size exist in real life hoop. I believe that 2k13 captured that better than any one of it's predecessors. If you'd like to go back to a more "arcade-style" game, be my guest.

Try turning up the game or player speed sliders.

Is your issue on the offensive or defensive end (or both)?

I have (had) an issue with the defense and it's because of the Defensive assistance. Lower it and see if that helps.
