2k please Fix the Iso motion (take it off the left stick)

The biggest problem with the new ISO MOTION is... 2k should've taken all iso motion completely off the left stick. this would've made it just like nba live was. right stick =hands/arms left stick = legs(movement). why they left the cross over and spin on the left stick baffles me. it caused people to do more dribble moves then intended. even if you know what moves you're diong with the right stick.

example of what it should be, if i'm crossing over in place. dont touch a thing, just tap the right stick ball hand to non ball hand. left to right/right to left. if i have the ball in my right hand. and i want to cross over left while moving left. i should be able to move the left stick to the left, while tapping the right stick to the left(assuming the ball is already in my right hand.)

if i want to cross back with movement. i have to move the left stick back to the right while i move the right stick back to the right. this makes it more like real life dribbling. vs "uh oh, do i hit the right stick right to left by itself. or do i just do it with the left stick since its doing it on its on anyway when i move my guy from right to left.

that needs to be fixed or atleast give me another controller setup option 2k

Your over thinking it, and making it way more complicated than it is...

That said, I will agree that the next step in the new control stick is to remove any major moves from the left stick....Harrison Barnes made a crucial turnover in one of my last games because he did an unnecessary spin...

AGREED! I do all kinds of moves that I don't want to do because of this. It's completely unnecessary and I have no idea what they were thinking when they did this.

3 points for graphics, 1 point for the passable commentary, and a half point for the boxart. I can give no further points since the all over the place gameplay would ruin it anyway.

Live still had contextual dribbling to make it look good when using the left stick but it was just crossovers. If you leave it all on the right stick then it will look awkward ala elite. So some is needed but definitely not any major moves. The dribble moves do need some tuning as it is not as fluid as live.

No, it's more complicated than it needs to be. It's called redundancy. In a space shuttle, it's necessary. In a video game, it isn't.

Only the stepback is needed on the left stick.

I don't really get why we have moves on the left stick either especially since we don't need to hold LT to do them. Makes you do moves you don't want to.

Even the stepback isn't really needed to be honest. They could/should in the future put the stepback in place of the behind the back and then make the behind the back manuever like 2k11 and 2k12, only on the right stick instead. It would feel more natural imo, but that's just me. I don't like the fact that I do a stepback automatically at random when I try to just move back a step near a defender and the other things that the left stick causes.

No, because the majority isn't having huge issues like you guys....like I said I agree with the OP somewhat, but I've learned the controls....
