What is the best way to earn VC points on 2K13?

the blacktop 1 vs 1 not working most of the times, i get 160 vs maybe just 1 out of 3 matches, and i follow the rules(no rematch, quick win with 3point shoots), sometimes i get only 10VC
why is that? HELP.

It only works in the playoffs specific mode. It doesn't work in association mode.

did the coach mode thing last night.. got about 3,500 VC during thursday night football. bought a couple of dunk packages. probably do it tonight as well to get some intro animations or maybe some more sig skills. really like what overall im at and want to get all my sig skills and dunk packages and animations set up so i can use the VC i get playing to work on my defense. sinc my player is a beast on the offensive side

I hate to rain on everyone's parade but in all honesty if you just play good games against the computer and online it really does not take that long to get everything. The whole purpose of the vc(besides to get nba 2k some money) was to have people play different aspects of the game more. Now I do agree they need to make association games get some kind of vc because that is ridiculous, but I do like how I have more of a reason to play NBA Today games when they start (do they have that anymore) and to just try out different teams and such. I have gotten so much better by just playing these games, I really think that was all 2k was trying to do.
