Defensive Issues that need to be Patched

you guys should try using Lt and right stick.not Y buttin.When I put my hands in the shooter's face it becomes impossible for him to make the shot. Ive played 10+ games on allstar diff. 12min.Cpu forces you to play good defene.I know because ive played againts mavs and theyve hit 2 3pointers out of 16 shots

its not a matter of 'go play madden if you want real physics'.If the game code says that you're going to not block a shot, theres no reason for the hand to go through the ball.

I agree....I play with the 76ers and I have no problems but I would say try changing some of the coaches profiles maybe that will help you...

The new cheese of drivng someone to go out of bounds , needs to be patched. Once it starts you cant get yourself out of it and cheesers are starting to realize it.

Totally agree. Guys should be picking up their dribble when getting stopped. More than likely I have to double the handler after stopping them.

Blocking is a joke "sometimes" and needs to be fix. I have literary seem that ball warp through my hand on shot attempts so I wouldn't get the block despite timing the shot perfectly and being 6 inches taller than the shooter.

I alot of a lot of issues with the defense but these are my main ones.

Points in the paint success rate is too high. It is extremely easy to score in the paint and under the rim with just about anyone. Its hard to make contact with the offensive player under the rim even in a sea of defenders they will sometimes get untouched for layups.

Quick question: has anyone be able to stop up and unders near the basket?? if you have please let me know. They said this year they added a disruption animation to it and I have yet to see it. I hope they didn't lie about this

Contesting jump shots (especially 3 pointers) go in at a too high of a rate. The main problem with this is that the game doesn't always recognize ur good defense. You can play perfect defense but the commentator will say something like "wow he usually make that shot when there is little to no defense on him" or "the defense is lucky he missed that one he had a good look"

I thought defense was going to be a main focus this year What happened?????

I have no problem with fast break D, but I do have a problem with a shocking lack of blocked shots. I've been playing with the Spurs in my association, and I have had 2 straight games without a blocked shot, dispite having one of the all-time great big man defenders on my team in Tim Duncan.

It's not so much jump shots, as I usually don't even try to block them, it's the layups/dunks where I go for the block and it doesn't even effect the offensive player.

It's like on my defensive end, players don't get contacts shots, but on the other end every shot I try in the paint seems to be a contact shot.
