Official Art Update Thread.

The purpose of this thread, is to bring 2k's attention to player and court art. This thread is not to bash the art team, so please do not fill this thread with insults or arguments. Let's keep this thread focus on the art and hopefully we'll see changes this year.

For those of you that may not remember 2k promised us that they would update hair, tattoos, gear, courts and sneakers last year. Even though it didn't really live up to it's promise there were updates in 2k12. The Raptors court was updated with the 3D logo underneath the basket, Kendrick Perkins weight lose was reflected in the game as well and sneakers were added to the game.The feature works, hopefully this thread will help 2k bring more updates to the game this year.

So please post Hairstyles, Tattoos, Gear or Court updates that should be in the game. If it's possible please use some photos.

They should make the striped socks shorter. Larry Legend didn't wear long socks, he wore medium socks.

Looking at the front page, accessory wise the ability to layer items, moreso leg sleeves. There are many different variations, and the default one (the way Melo wears his) is ridiculous. I hate that sock length. Mid calf with medium socks is the way to go but here are different examples. I'm just going to call everything a sleeve even though some may be pads....

Yo and this face was in 2K12 it was a player that was called Marcus Cousin , is there anyway to put this face on Demarcus Cousins body ? because this looks more like him than his current one which looks awful. Cousins has been due for an update.

Please add to accessories on the front page; this year, we cannot combine accessories like we could in 2K12 ie: knee pad with a leg sleeve. It would be great if that could be patched.

If it's possible please fix jersey tightness and the arm holes. I've commented on these numerous times, if it can not be fixed for 2k13 please fix this for 2k14.
Why we need these updates.
2k imo you have made a phenomenal basketball game. Even with it's issue the game is by far the greatest basketball game ever created in my and many others opinion. The the major issue with your product the last 3 years has been art related. I'm not going bashing the art team because they've made strides and the game is far from ugly. We just want a visually accurate game to go along with the amazing gameplay. While 2k13 is a great product, I just don't feel immersed with the game. The reason being accessories being off, old cyberfaces, no tattoos, wrong sock color etc. Please 2k take this thread and improve your product.

That's the problem right there we have to show them what's wrong or things will stay the same, if it's possible could you show the issues with bobcats court in 2k13?

lol when i see thee word practice i always think of A.I. I'm not sure if you have to buy it to unlock it but if not make the Adidas Speedwrap Ankle Brace available to everyone and put it on D. Rose for online purposes. Also make the adidas techfit calf sleeve available as well not just for MyPlayer.

Me personally I want the long sleeve to return. The sleeve where you put the pad on the knee and put a mid calf sleeve or a long calf sleeve on the leg. I'm disappointed it was removed because a lof of NBA players wear this.

And/or the ability to put Adidas kneepads on players outside of MyCareer.

i went into the roster editor last night to muck around to make sure i bought the right accessories for myplayer.

i tried out d-rose, and even though u cant overlap sleeves and kneepads, i could still equip the adidas arm and knee pads to him.

the only thing i couldnt get were the adidas ankle braces and the undershirts/shorts.

Aldridge needs his facial hair and those long socks on him need to go.

Blazers redlines on side of keys need removed


Both are long overdue, and almost made me not purchase this game. Please fix them.

I'm disappointed in Brandon Jennings .. 2k gave him the same mohawk for the past 3 years and honestly he didn't have a mohawk since 10. Last year he had an Afro/twisties . He's one of my favorite players so this bothers me
