Difference between Camera Relative and Absolute?

I did a search for this and could not really find a definitive answer. I have tried both and they play differently, but I do not know what the difference is.
I have seen posts here and there that Pared recommends or prefers absolute.

I guess my question is, what is the difference and what is your personal preference?

If there is a post about this already, I am sorry, but I cannot find it.

Absolute means down on the R stick will always result in behind the back, for example.

Camera Relative means to do behind the back you have to move the R stick towards the player's back depending which way he is facing.

Which do you use? Which do you prefer and why?
I understand what you said, I am just having a bit of a time grappling with using absolute I guess. I did all of the training, played a couple games under normal, then changed it to absolute. I think that when I do a move in absolute, it feels like they either go the wrong way or chain a couple moves that I did not intend. It is much smoother, but in camera relative, it seems that the moves are more direct and it does not chain moves. Does that sound right?
Loving the game, just trying to make sure I am using the right control scheme.

I use absolute. It just seems easier to me for some reason, like there's less thought involved, so I can just react and play.
