Doc has now put me in the starting lineup, at shooting guard. So we'll see if things change.

Not sure why he now starts me over Avery Bradley, again I've just been plowing through games and not really checking out league or team news.

It's a peculiar move because I haven't been scoring at all. I've been dishing out some dimes though, and am top ten in the league in the PG metric ratings, with Rondo near the top. So maybe he just wants two PGs in the backcourt, lol.

Having a blast with this mode, in spite of seeing time at PF, and in spite of not being able to see the play art while at SG. Not sure what's up with that.

im playing as a SF with the raptors and they are so insistent on playing both Calderon and Lowry at the 1 and 2, even though we have derozan, fields and ross all rated equal to or higher than calderon. yet cpu keeps rolling out these two at the 1 and 2 in my starting 5, really kills me on defense and offense. Lowry never makes an open shot.

Because Joe Dumars envisions you as a Marc Aquire type PF!!!

I'm a 6"5 SG at Hornets and has happened to me a few times in my first 4 games.

Not always, but I think there is logic to it at times. I usually end up playing decent minutes at Sf or especially Pf when we are getting blown out (which at NO this seems to be a regular occurrence!). I think the coach just decides its garbage time, clears his bench and puts you whenever there is room.

Against Boston played Pf for 4 solid minutes and being abused in the post I deliberately threw the ball away twice then called timeout next possession to get subbed. Only they moved me too centre as punishment

The oppo did put their bench against us for entire 4th quarter as down by 20+, which is why I do not think it was by accident. If oppo are playing starting 5 still would have been suspect but the times I have experienced this its because we're a bad team are the game was lost

This happens to me a ton to my 6'4 PG, I constantly get put in at PF near the end of the 3rd quarter and beginning of 4th for several minutes.

I'm pretty sure this is due to the AI's slavish devotion to how many minutes I have earned. Because I've earned a lot of minutes and the backup PGs on my team are better than the backup PFs, the AI puts me at PF so it can play the backup PGs.

An equally bad problem is that the AI usually yanks me for nearly all of overtime because of these same limitations.

Yep this happened to me once. I'm a 6'2 PG and I play 12 minute qtrs and I was on the court all 48 minutes, my guy won't even run because he's so damn tired, and atleast 10 minutes I was playing PF. It was ridiculous..

I'm 12 games in now and it stopped happening as my minutes have increased in the rotation. Now if I could just get my teammates to stop passing up wide open layups and jumpshots just so I won't get an assist smh
