    Pushed out of bounds

What is this animation where a defender can simply push the ball handler out of bounds while he's walking the ball up the court? There is no way a defender just push the ball handler out of bounds, it doesn't ever happen.

If you only play the AI you don't know what it is, but if someone comes very close to you when you're running/walking the ball up court near the lines, he simply pushes you out of bounds and there's nothing you can do. Makes really no sense.

It needs to be taken out.

Are you talking about when you run up the side of the court and the defender is in good position you and you sometimes run out of bounds? That does happen in real life if your running near the edge. Don't stand so close to the sideline.

      Yeah that's it.

I've honestly never seen it happen. I thought it should be a foul everytime.

How does it make sense though that I get pushed on the side if I'am on the side of the court but I don't if i'am in the middle of the court? Where is the logic in this.

Yeah this is something that needs to be fixed. There is just too much sliding on the court that happens on those dribbler/on-ball defender contact animations.

yea this happened to me. taking the ball up and I start getting bumped towards the sideline so I start pushing towards the middle of the court but got pushed out of bounds and turned it over.... got a technical too as I was none to pleased about not getting a foul call.

This one's fine with me. As a ball handler, you need to be aware of where you are and your distance from the defender.

the first few times this happened to me, i got mad, but once you know that this kind of stuff happens, just cut to the middle before the defender gets to close, and you're all good.

i agree that it's a bit stupid, but it's really easy to avoid.

You mean it's legit to get pushed away out of bounds so easily like that?

When you see the defender coming, just stop and change the direction of your movement. Or if your running just do the stepback move and the defender will stop.

I agree but the game shouldn't carry you out of bounds as it does a guy like Lebron really shouldn't be pushed out by say Rondo or CP3 if anything you should forced to pick up your dribble and possibly eat the 8 sec violation.

Its pretty easy to avoid, just stay in the middle of the court or Pass the ball! Most of the time you can blow past them too. Nba players dont bring it up next to the sideline against pressure.

I think it was to eliminate some of the online tactics of lesser players, who'd run the sidelines and cut the baseline to dunk. (I don't know.) But people still do this online. And I actually like it, though, because it's a basic basketball/point-guard principle: keep the dribble live, in the middle, and don't turn the out-of-bounds lines into help defenders. And it ups the backcourt pressure abilities and defensive shading counters of a powerful dribble system.
I'll beat you mercilessly with passing and pick-and-pops.

back court violations need to be addressed before this. Where a you grab a ball that was tipped by defender and the momentum carries you into the backcourt.
