What isn't correct? I'm saying it SHOULDN'T work that way as it doesn't make much sense, not that it doesn't actually work like that. You're not reading my post correctly.

Ive played 60-70 12 min quarter games, and have been playing 2k since 2k4.

I can barely avg 1 block per game with Ibaka.

Interior defense, simply, doesnt work.
I'm not so sure. I've played a similar number of games on 12 minute quarters. A lot of it might depend on who you are playing. Are you playing a person or the CPU?

A shot that gets blocked is basically a bad shot. If you are playing at higher levels against the CPU (on hof for example) the fewer bad shots the CPU is going to take and therefore the fewer number of blocks you are going to get.

It's the same with playing against another person, if they are a really disciplined opponent they might not take shots that can get blocked. Here's a box of score of a guy who plays good interior defense in my league where he got 5 blocks with Bogut who has a 95 block. He had no fouls at the end of the game. 12 minute quarters, hall of fame, sim sliders.

And here's a box score where I got two blocks manually with Hibbert (block rating 86) in a game where I only used the right stick and didn't use triangle. He had three fouls at the end of the game. Same gameplay settings.

Re: blocks and no contact being called fouls

it varies but I agree playing with McGee in CAL unlike previous versions Blocking a shot is like a miracle no matter position I have.

Contesting shots is just with right stick at times sucks when ur player refuse to put hands up.

I know McGee isn't a solid Post D player. But if i'm coming from blind/weak side u telling me a 7ft player with Hops maybe only Blake Griffin can rival u telling me I can't swat shots at least 2 per game on a consistent basis.
