Next, I'm going to hear how I need to press up, up, down, left in order to keep my starting position.

gtfo the thread then, we're just talking about our experiences and were trying to figure out if its a glitch or not. You're a little too worried about a thread LMAO

The weird thing is the total opposite is happening to me.

I was drafted by the Hawks as a PF.

After about 10 games Josh Smith got injured and I took over the starting spot, after he came back I kept my starting spot (as a 69 ovr or something like that) and they moved him to SF.

Ever since I have never been benched, and they have better option then me on the team.

Maybe I'm just lucky

Re: Is there a problem with the MyCareer starting system?

I was having this same exact issue and it was really starting to frustrate me. My team had me on the bench with a 39 year old, 68 rated Vince Carter starting. I'm up to a 90 overall, leading the lead in PPG and assists and first in MVP voting. I kept asking for Carter to be traded and when I asked for more minutes they would start me at 28 MPG and then immediately go back to the old lineup, no matter what my performance was, in the next game.

I saw someone say that you needed to talk up your coach to the GM to get more minutes. I figured it sounded ridiculous, but it's worth a shot.

It worked. Immediately after doing that I was put in the starting lineup at 36 MPG.

It's a terrible system but there are ways around it. I'd suggest doing that to anyone having issues. It sounds stupid, but it works.

It may have randomly worked for you, but it never has for me. I've tried talking up the coach, getting multiple A+ games in a row, saying Dion Waiters is holding me back, etc etc...nothing changes it. I always end up starting 1 game, where my minutes somehow DROP to 28, then immediately after the game is over I'm back as the 6th man (and my minutes are upped to 29). It's a bug.

This is no different than the allstar glitch, some will get it and some won't. nothing to figure out. It's a bug. The reason I made a comment is because people are coming in here trying to tell you if you play this way, etc etc. The truth is it doesn't matter some will get it, some won't.
The answer is given, I see no point in talking about 100 experiences when we know its a glitch.
