Re: WISHLIST FOR nba 2k14
First of all aweseome game! thanks once again for keeping me gaming. now In no particular order:
1. More fleshed out "on the fly" play calling and adjustments. i liked when I could select a player then have a number of plays to choose from just for that player. also i liked when the cpu would take over your player wheile making on the fly adjustments. (or at least make it an option)
2. More camera A.I. id like to see some dynamic panning and zooming within the chosen settings, certain cams seem to do it now, like when bringing the ball up court it smoothly pans out a bit, then comes back in when you start yout half court set. I like to play zoomed in tight with the Beluba cam, and i enjoy it even with its blind spots, but it would be nice if when i kicked the ball to the corner the camera kinda panned around a little.
on that note i love the camera variations durning free throws, keep them all in and add more, and find more situations to use them.
3. If at all possible, DO NOT remove classic teams. i straight love em.
4. more 2K12"dunked on" animations. it should help clrean up some of the contact under the rim issues.
more loose ball and sideline animations, had a nice play on the baseline where Josh Smith was trying to keep the ball in play, stretched out and palmed the ball with one hand while balancing on one foot to keep from stepping out of bounds, then threw the ball off of the defender, we need more of such plays.
5. Please Dont go overboard with real time physics until it can be done without taking a step backwards in gameplay.
6. to be honest the few things i would ask to be addressed with gameplay i feel may be intentional to balance the game and A.I. issues go without saying and are well documented. So i will leave that to you guys because you have always seemed to be ahead of where i felt BBall gaming was at the time. but i will say dont abandon two man animations , id like to see more steal attempts (both succesfull nad failed) done with the two man mo caps, this made for some nice animations, it could also be used to punish steal spaming.
7. work in bench reactions and animations into the presentation more
8. access to all of the coaching tools from the timeout screen
9. I personaly dont like the timer based pick control, i do like the option to choose between roll, fade, & pop, but it it shouldnt be based on holw long i hold a button.
10. Keep the gameplay animations varried, fluid, and lifelike, this is your staple ( along with presentation). great job! just continue to keep these coming while polishing gameplay and you will have no complaints from me.
