Re: My Team 3Pointers...
I can help you guys. First, let me be clear, 3pt shooting is overpowered but it shouldn't cost you games. Also, even with adjustments, teams will still make 3pt shots, no such thing as some secret solution to make your opponents go 1-15 but you do have the ability to contain it.
Off ball Defense: If the other team is bringing the ball up the court and you know Korver is their man, take control of your shooting guard and manually guard Korver and his passing lane.
Manual double team and Hard Hedge: One good thing about the double team animation is that you basically put your body on the person with the ball, so they’re no longer open to shoot anything. Hard Hedging also calls for a bump on the ball handler which takes away any open shot.
What do Korver, Novak, Miller, and Redick all have in common? They all can’t dribble, low ball handles, low ball security, offensive awareness not great and all play terrible D. This means with the double team you can easily strip the ball and cause turnovers because they can’t effectively pass when trapped.
Also, you should be scoring at will against those teams. Think I’m joking, don’t use any dribble moves against Korver, his D I so bad all you have to do is drive and he will automatically move out your way, try it.
Finally, it may be hard to accept but some opponents are just better than you. You can’t beat everyone. Some people will have a counter for every adjustment because they’re simply better.
