Lets be honest here, How many times does a dunk get blocked in an actual NBA game?
Be honest here, how many times do guys just jump through traffic and dunk on teams? With as many chances as the offense takes when it comes to dunking, the defense needs to be able to challenge and block more often.

Actually, players dunk through traffic more often than people here let on. Also, what sliders are you using?
Doesn't make sense that your dunk cant be blocked. I've seen Ibaka block a dunk at the rim. Can't remember who tho but it does happen. Called getting stuffed.
i saw andre miller get up and block one of the jazz bench centers dunk when the jazz played the nugggets this past friday.lol. we should not be able to block dunks at will but we should atleast be able to force them into contested shots or dunks that are harder to finish. i know 2k wanted to get rid of most of the 2 player animations and that may be a reason we dont have a lot of blocked dunks happpening.

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

This is accurate
Deandre Jordan (DR) Lamarcus Aldridge Antoine Walker (Celtics) Steph Curry (MVP)
Deron Williams (TBT Gold)
While there are definitely blocked dunks, it really doesn't happen all that much in real life. Normally, people get hard contact and then change into a layup, which is exactly what happens in the game.

Stop. Why are people like you in favor of this? Dunks not being able to be blocked is only and only HORRIBLE. The game was better off and more authentic when they could actually be blocked. Not when people like LeBron James can just throw an alley-oop to himself in traffic and dunk it.
Besides, dunks hardly turn into layups on this game DESPITE the contact you give it. Being able to block dunks is essential for any successful basketball game.
