BUG: X BUTTON (SHOT BUTTON) NOT WORKING!!!

Alright, so here is the bug: when I am on offense the x button won't work for me at time. It just won't respond. I can't tell you guys how sick I am of this bug, because it completely destroys the game for me. Last night it happened around 10-15 times in one single game.

The bug has cost me so many baskets..it is so frustrating when I am on the fast break and I'm pressing x to go for the dunk, but nothing happens...or I run a great play to free up my shooting guard who has a wide open look and I press x to shoot, but nothing happens...I googled the bug, but it seems that not a lot of people share it. I know that it was mentioned once in the bugs and glitches thread, but my question is whether any of you guys know if this bug has been brought up to the attention of a 2k developer, so that it will be fixed with the upcoming patch. I would be so incredibly mad if this bug was still in the game after the patch...

it just needs to be asked:

are you holding left trigger when you're trying to shoot?

Yeah, it usually happens when driving to the hoop.
