2k13 Players better than their ratings?

From your personal experiences which players do you play well with when their overall rating indicates otherwise?

    For me:

C Dexter Pittman - 55 OVR - This dude is a freaking tank. Weighs 285 I think. But what surprised me was that he has pretty good handles too, even though he's rated as an F. Every time I put him in for 8-10 minutes he gets me around 10 PTS 5 REB. Makes no sense how he's rated this low.

PF Larry Sanders - 67 OVR - Has good range on his jumpshot, athletic, gets lots of blocks.

SG Willie Green - 68 OVR - Gets WET from 3 every time I play with him. Not a bad defender either. (Guys like Jimmer, Steve Novak, etc. fit this category as well).

PG Darius Morris - 65 OVR - Pretty good shot, great handles, and more athletic than he looks.

Not to mention notorious 2k beasts such as Anthony Randolph, Josh Smith, Tyrus Thomas, Michael Beasley.

Majority of the guys you mentioned are limited on D to say the least. They either aren't athletic enough, strong enough, or are somewhat slow on the mental side of D. There's a reason they aren't rated that high. Awareness, both on offense and defense, influence the overall rating a good amount.

Because they have skills but they have limited skills.. It's basically all about the tendencies ..

Not about ratings, it's about attributes.

            Tony Wroten.

I can takeover a game with this guy on both ends of the floor. Not sure what he's rated.. Low 60s I think. Too lazy to check.

Great article on this exact topic...check it out and let me know what you think

This is a list on underrated players in the recently released NBA 2K13. By "underrated" I mean players who if used right, are worth well above what their rating suggests. I only used players who have ratings under 80 overall.P.S. If anyone wants to join, I have an online XBOX 360 association. The...

I agree with u on Larry Sanders. Should be low 70s. Good shot blocker, athletic, nice shot. He is 3rd in FG%

J.R Smith. Depending on the matchup, I usually start him in place of brewer and he gets hot after 2 shots sometimes
