So 9 out of 10 times that I m in offense, my player substitute menu comes up when I try to directional pass. Im not hitting the left direction pad up, so I have no idea why its happening. Im hoping that im just a moron ans am missing something simple, but its maddening. Thanks for any advice.

THANK YOU!! Exact same thing happens to me, except I can make that menu pop up on purpose with the left stick if I push hard enough up it's crazy! -

Its either a problem with your remote or you are pressing the d-pad without realizing, my friend that i play association with used to do it on the drive religiously. I forced him to hold the remote a little different and not to go crazy with the left stick and he doesnt do it anymore.
Try a new remote first though.Comment

use the analog stick instead of the directional pad. never had this happen to me once.Comment
