30 Team Interactive Association

Hey guys this is going to be a 30 team interactive association. Two other people have tried this and it didn't pan out. I want to re-invent it. This league will have me as the commissioner, and I will run the league site as the media member.

Few things about the association:
1. Nobody plays games, It is all run on my association and I sim all games, and make the moves you make in my game to adjust the rosters to the moves that have been made.

2. You are the GM so you handle all your scouting, your trades, and roster moves as well as the rotations and your coach profiles so you dictate how YOUR team will play.

Questions for you guys:

1. How many guys do you want to join before we start? (Thinking at least 15 probably 20 though.)

2. Do you guys want to know players ratings from all teams, just yours, or none? Other leagues that I've done they chose none.

3. How many trading windows do you want? I was thinking no more than 3, because I don't want this to be trades were no teams resemble their current selves.

Also when picking your team, if you pick a young team keep that in mind so that you want to build through young talent, and draft unless you can snag a nice trade, but most young teams hold some assets see what their potential can be.

I will be incorporating a FA calculator that determines teams talent, with city, and fan base to determine what FA's go where depending on the offers you guys make.

Always love an interactive association, I'm the Cavs in MrBlakeVincent's, so I'll take the Thunder.

1. I'd say 20
2. None, but you can scout a rating from a player
3. 3, One at the start, one beginningish and a trade deadline period

That's what I think anyway, can't wait your websites are always good.

Good to see some interest, spread the word. I will mark you both down for those teams. Also I don't think I am going to make packets maybe just a spreadsheet with every team and show what players contracts are because it is public knowledge anyway irl. I feel that will help with trading. Most day-to-day stuff will be run on the forum site once that's up and running. Then the rumors and stuff will be through the league site which will resemble an NBA.com or ESPN.com look.

Never tried this before but sounds like a lot of fun. I'll take the Lakers.

Also, this might be a dumb question but, how do we scout, draft, do free agency, etc. if its all on your game and we can't see it?

For free agency we will have a FA calculator which I input the contract, the city, and the teams skill to implant reasons for why a FA would want to come to your team. Say he has 3 offers from the Lakers, Wizards, and the Rockets. The lakers would most likely not have to offer as much as let's say the Wizards, like Irl the wizards will have to overpay which makes young squads have to really build through the draft. When I get the percentage however I will use a random number generator and say the lakers have 50% chance, the Rockets a 30% and the wizards a 20% chance. Now in the random # generator I set it any numbers from 1-100, Lakers will be 1-50, Rockets will be 51-80, and Wizards 81-100.

Hope that wasn't just me rambling but anyway that's just hypothetical the wizards could offer more money and a better role than the Lakers and have a higher percentage of getting "player".

As for the draft if we have people doing this and we get through season 1 we would set up a live chat room draft, (fantasy football style) I will simply do what you pick into the draft.

As for scouting I am open to ideas how do you guys want me to do it? Also any other things you want to see if we can add or improve, just comment here hopefully this all works out.

Yeah you can protect any picks, I will just keep an excel sheet trade them after season.

Should I just keep the 2 1sts, and 2 2nds for every team or trade all icks up to say year 2015?
If that anyone got a sheet with those on there?
