    Development drills

When doing theses drills, do they add on right away or end of season?

      Association

These drills been broken since 2k11. You might one to go into edit player and check all the players base stats prior to the drills; write them down. If you get +3 to anything it will only add 2 points. +2 might only add 1.

Also, if you put on any dunk shoes or attruibute boosting shoes followed by doing a weekly practice to whatever attributes that are raised by the shoes your player will permanently have a 99 in that category.

Half of my players now have 99 dunks and 99 3pt ratings after one practice with the shoes on" its permanent.

You're supposed to get the points added to your player's rating right away. It works for the first season of your association but year's 2 and beyond its broken. It will let you do the drill but it won't give the rating boost to your player. You'd have to manually go in and edit the player's attributes.

Is this confirmed? I'm about to hit year two of my Association and this would be a total killer.

I'm not lying. Have you checked your player's attribute ratings before and after doing one of the development drills? I'm in 2017 in my association and the game no longer applies the attribute boost. It will say that you get +1 or +2 or whatever but when I go look at that player's ratings, nothing has changed. The attribute bump that I was supposed to get doesn't actually happen.

I know at least in NBA 2k11 you have to pay really close attention to what you're doing before development. I have noticed that if you do a development drill while you still have the bonus attribute points from practice it can mess with your ratings. What I do to ensure my ratings are accurate I keep a database of all my players ratings in an Excel spreadsheet. I make sure to not set a practice the last week of the month so that there are no bonus attribute points. Also there is a glitch where you sometimes won't get all the attribute points you were supposed to earn. This is where the Excel spreadsheet comes in handy. After the +2's come up I apply the points to the spreadsheet then go in to edit player to make sure they have been applied. I edit any discrepancies as they come up.

Shoes can also screw up your players ratings. Make sure you don't set any practices that will affect the same ratings that your shoes do.

I would suggest removing the shoes and editing the ratings back to where they should be.

They really gave the Dev Drills no attention this year. It seems ever since they brought the old ratings back, they overlooked the fact that the ball-handling drill still only had Speed, Quickness, Ball Security, and OffHand Dribbling but not the main dribbling rating. Same with the rebound drill and many others.
