Jimmy Butler

I hope 2k is paying attention to this kid . The kid is almost a lock down defender not to mention we're talking about a good rebounder that has nearly as many offensive boards as he does defensive. Right now he's sitting at 56ORB vs 69DRB. That's crazy. His skills on the offensive boards are ridiculous, especially for a guard. Not only would he be BY FAR the best offensive rebounding guard (by rate) but he'd be top 3 among SF. He hias been stepping it up for The Bulls since deng has been out . He isnt a great shooter but he's aveage better than Ronnie Brewer and Tony Allen so no changes there maybe a 3 points up for mid and 3 ball ; but he's more of a slasher right now he gets to the FT line at a good rate and Is an 86 % FT shooter . Deng doesnt need to play 40 mins anymore with this kid. Since Deng got hurt his numbers are:

14.75PPG 7.25RPG 2APG 1.25SPG and only 1 turnover per game. at best he should be a 72 and his on ball should be in the mid to high 80's . His on ball d right now is ten less than Nash's smh . This guy and Gordon from the Jazz deserve a slight boost , its time for 2K to start paying attention to the lil guys that are helping these teams win games and stop undervaluing them.

Re: Jimmy Butler

I wouldn't call him a lockdown defender he guarded Rudy Gay well and some others but you can't hand these sig skills out so easy if any Bull player needs an upgrade it should be Boozer..can't believe im saying that

It's a little early to be making a case for him getting a boost when he has played a nice week. Lets see a little more consistency before we make that kinda case for a player.

Re: Jimmy Butler

He actually has been a great defender all season and last year also. I agree on waiting for a boost but 2K needs to at least increase his defense.

He is one of the better on ball defenders its just so happen since Deng is out we are getting to see him more.

i can understand that not everyone watches the bulls religiously... but he has been a GREAT defender his whole career... thibodeau is a defence oriented coach, and there are times when he has elected to bench a starter late in the game and insert jimmy in the name of defence .. same goes for taj gibson

Uhh, shouldn't these weekly updates reflect the past week in the NBA?
