Have had this happen to me a lot, Mycareer games, Online Associations(It happens a ton in this mode for me for some reason.) and of course online games.

Not my controller, not sure what causes it but maybe a glitch, and as it does fix itself after that possession, it can be very annoying when you have a open shot/easy lane to the basketball and nothing happens then you just have to go to the LT and analog real quick.

You know woudn't be the first person that presses the X button with his thumb when they made it clear in the manual that the X button has to be pressed with the nose (or forehead).

It does happen, that's why I converted fully to the shotstick. I'd suggest the same for everyone because once you get it down it will make you more effective.

When this happens nothing works, no combination of buttons works, you have reconnect your controller.

Really? I haven't experienced a full on shut down of my controller. My experience was just with the X(shoot) button not functioning leading to me running out of bounds... like a boss.

You can run around and do everything but shoot.

It happened to me a few times on drive to the baskets.
Had an open lane player didn't shoot instead passed the ball or didn't do anything .

I get mad when I pump fake and the ball gets shot instead...WTF.
