Trades

I just picked this up the other day with it being on sale via xbox live.

I decided to do an association with the Bulls and started mid season. At the trade deadline, I was offered a couple of trades that I took. Just wanted to get some feedback to see what y'all thought.

The Rockets offered me Patrick Patterson for Carlos Boozer. There were some exchange of draft picks and what not, but that was the basic theme.

The Blazers offered me Wesley Matthews for Nate Robinson, which I also jumped on.

I, personally, don't like Boozer, and I think Matthews is a huge upgrade over Rip.

Short term, Boozer for Patterson likely drops your team's overall, but you can't really argue trading a guy nearing the end of his prime for a 23-year-old with good upside. I would hold on to Patterson; pairing him with Taj Gibson is a pretty good combination.

As for Matthews, I'm assuming you play Hinrich at point then? Teague's a long term prospect in my eyes, so I might've kept Robinson another season or two because of that, but you can't go against getting a good scorer like Matthews is.

I have to say, two pretty good value trades in my estimation.

I also made trades to my bulls team instead i traded for austin rivers F/A signed K-mart . Traded alot of my core pieces boozer, nate, rip deng for few #1's future 2013 draft picks.
