I'm sure they will release nba 2k for the next gen console next year.

Hopefully with the PS4 release in Fall 2013, they'll just push back the NBA2k14 release date back a month or two.

Well as long as they keep MyCareer and add some features instead of taking them away, I'm all for the graphical update that next-gen will bring.
