    Offline Association Question

Has anyone played multiple seasons in an offline Association? I had a couple questions. As you get deeper in, does the level of play get worse due to the fact that the star players retire? Or do the incoming rookies each year tend to fill this void and develop into stars? Also, it seems as though the commentary would get stale after many seasons, due to players retiring because most of it consists of facts pertaining to current stars. Would this be an accurate assumption?

It becomes more difficult because teams never draft bust and everybody has a super team

OK, so the future draftees are rated too high or become too good over time?

If you use 2k Default Draft Classes then teams will become Overpowered with Stars. You can either Use a Custom Draft Class or Edit the Incoming Draft Class in Your Association to keep from being too many Star players.

Thanks for the info! Does the commentary get generic sounding after several seasons or does it adjust to the "new" stars?

I think as long a player's 1st and last name are in 2k Name Database it will announce them. Honestly I have never paid attention. LOL

Maybe this question has an obvious answer, but what is the outcome of having such high number of star players after several years into the association? Is it that there will be too much parity within the league?

All the teams are stacked, roles are messing up, team chemistry is falling, and most of the terrible teams have gotten good, so the league is basicallly at a standstill.

                    Re: Offline Association Question

i'm in the 2024-2025 season and i like it way more than the regular 2013/2014 association. it's all about having the time and will to edit. you could either sim a bunch of seasons then edit or edit 10 or so draft classes and edit things here and there along the way. (which is what i did).

oh and yes, commentary gets pretty generic.
