'Updating NEW content' taking ages, then freezing at main menu

Game says 'Updating NEW content' at the title screen for way longer than normal, then when u get 2 the main menu and u try go into something it freezes.

Thinking its something to do with the new roster update but anyone else having this problem?

One advice delete any created nike id kicks and or delete settings.

Same problem here for a second I thought my Ps3 had problems, I hope they fix this soon ..
